Hi there, just bought a 2013 S10 brand new. Picked it up from New York on Thursday and rode it back via Long Island and the ferry to New London.
Live in Ledyard CT but originally from the UK.
Had a Kawasaki Versys 1000 in the UK and have also owned a 1150GS.
Still need to decide what cases to get and also looking from advice on best way or not to polish the matte surfaces.

Welcome aboard. I ride a 2010 Super Tenere from Weston CT. I put the Jesse cases on my black bike, went with the silver powder coating. Best bags I have ever seen or used. I would be happy to show them to you if that will help you with your decision.

Welcome, from another CT rider (New Milford)!

I went with Givi Trekker cases. Pair of 33L on the sides and a 55L top case. Great looking, roomy and well made.
Not as tough as Jesse's but unless you do are primarily off-roading they are as tough as you need.
