Rode a blue beauty home on Friday; Sunday and I'm thinking a bigger windshield is in order. After paging through the varoius windshield threads, I'm no closer to a decision. At 6'4", with a 34 inseam, I am thinking I need to go big. Anyone my size happy with the largest National Cycle V-Stream? Also like the looks of the Cal Sci, but sounds like some have been unhappy with the quality of the edge finish? Help.

Moving up from a Triumph Tiger 1050, what a differnce between engines! Totally differnt feel. Can't wait to try it off the road!

Welcome on, biffofallon from Illinois. Congrats on the new bike. I'm a wimpy 6' even, but I have the V-Stream medium and like it very much. Tough windshield. ::004:: to the Forum R. ::022::

::004:: from Oklahoma! There are a lot of choices to be had out there... I have the OEM tall windshield and a Madstad windshield bracket that way it is very adjustable. Ask around from the group. You will get a million different answers, but you will find one that fits what you are looking for.

Greetings, from just a bit north of you in Hillsboro. You might do a search for forum member Whisperquiet, who lives close to you in Waterloo and is about your size. Dennis is on his second Super Tenere and could probably give you some advice on windscreen's that have worked for him.

I have the MRA and love it. An adjustable mount makes a bigger difference IMO.

Welcome from Decatur , IL

BTW I am running the + Yamaha shield and the Madstad. I love this combo and the 3/4 in bar on the Madstad is wonderful to mount my GPS on.

I am 6'2 with a 34" inseam and mounted the V-stream mid and it works much better, I also mounted the OEM wind deflectors and they also helped.
