Hey there guys. Been rippin gravel roads up here in the NW and touring the western states for about 15 yrs now. Current rides are 07 FXDWG (not ridden much). 08 1200gs and an 08 wr250x converted to r (my absolute favorite most fun bike). I've Honestly loved my gs and have enjoyed every mile of its 35k miles but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,guess what FAILED at 33k? Correct! My final drive :-[ Sooooo,,,,,,,,,,,,after throwing castle walls of cash at it, I'm done.
I test rode a Super Tenere earlier this year and am really impressed! I rode a 14 and there are some great values out there. I really want the blue one and trying to take advantage of the promotions here at year end but I have to trade the GS. by the way, BMW's DON'T HOLD THEIR VALUE! I'm willing and ready to have that debate with anyone. Hoping that Momma Yama will extend the rebates into January. I'm ready to trade the GS today and write a difference check so wish me luck. Already got all my farkles picked out.
