Hi folks. Thanks for allowing me to join. Just picked up a ‘17 XT1200Z and I’m looking forward to getting to know it, and some of the folks here, better. I’m in the Fingerlakes region of NY, if anyone else is in the area.

Hello AlanP. I have had my 2014 Super Ten for a couple years now. Congrats on the new bike and Welcome! I am just down the road in Horseheads.

We’ll have to connect sometime and take a ride. Had a weird issue with it yesterday. Both bolts holding my right side caliper came loose, with one falling out. Luckily, I was able to find it. I put it back together with some Loctite, and put it on the other side as well. Since the bolts have a hole clear through them, I’m probably going to safety wire them so it doesn’t happen again.
