I run a white 2014 ZE/ES currently. Can you detect any differences with the new 2017ES? - some talk of popping in the exhaust, on the overrun, resulting from changes to the mapping.

My 14 S10 was a gen 1 19200 miles when sold, my 17 S10 is Euro 4 , 530 miles so early day yet, there is slight popping on the overrun but this bike is a lot smoother and refined.

14 S10 was a Gen 1? I'm sure you meant 13 S10 bought in 2014 was a Gen 1.

::004:: from Switzerland, my Gen 2 is a 2016, and has that popping on decel..... I like it, so probably not switch out to aftermarket end can as that would get the locals attention....
