Greetings from the burbs of Nashville! Joined the S10 gang a couple of weeks ago when I was looking for a trade for my 2010 FJR. I was looking for a standard of some sorts when I was approached for a trade for a 2012 S10. Wasn't really considering an ADV but gave it a thought and went for it. I've been through 49 bikes and this is my first ADV. So far, I really like it. I probably won't be getting as muddy as most of you but more of an urban warrior. The missus even likes it even though she prefers cruisers

Yeah, Charlotte is in one of my favorite areas around here. You can get in the sticks pretty quick west of Nashville.

I don't think I saw straight level road anywhere out there. I remember thinking it be a great place for a bike instead of the truck I was driving.
