HELP WITH FUEL LEVEL INDICATOR

This is my first bike to actually have a fuel gauge! (You can imagine how thrilled I am!) My last bike didn't even have a low fuel light! All other bikes I've had a low fuel light.

Funny thing about this bike and fueling is if you don't reset your trip meter after fueling it will reset itself after you ride 5 km or 3 miles per the owners manual page 4-12. This is for a 2015 model and I have not tried not resetting the trip meter yet.

You are referring to only the low fuel tripmeter correct?

The level sensor does not understand the change in the shape of the tank as the level declines. Unless you have a perfectly straight sided tank (think cylinder or cube/block shape, this will always be the case.
