Start by looking closely at the segmented ring which the sensor faces and see if it got damaged.

Holy crap really
Thanks for the info
Lord I hope not and I will check it
Seems strange that would randomly be damaged
To me but I will for sure check it

Advtoorer's photo brought to mind that it's easy to check the ring and sensor with a multimeter.

Use an ohmmeter at the sensor electric connector. I don't know specifically what the resistance should be for this one, but it's usually more than 1k-ohm and less than several. If they are bad, they usually are shorted or open so usually a bad one typically will jump out at you.

Then remount the sensor and switch the meter to AC volts, because the assembly is just a very simple AC generator. Spin the wheel fast and the sensor should put out a meter reading which increases and decreases with the wheel speed.

I put a brand new sensor on the bike
I just checked the abs ring and cleared the codes
Remounted rear wheel double checked everything
Rode down the street and back about a half mile
Same lights right back on!

I am tired just tired
I guess someone will get a great deal on this bike!
Crazy part is I bought this bike because it’s stone cold reliable
Lol

Did also check the front abs wire? That has been known to chafe against the tyre if put back incorrectly. You may also need to clear the codes a couple of times, maybe even disconnect the positive lead.......

I have checked the front wire looks ok
I have just tried wiggling it and it does not
Change the lights
I guess I could replace the front sensor
Wire too.
I reset the codes and went out for a ride
I am eating lunch now about a 45 mile ride
No change lights on.
I have pulled and checked all fuses
Pulled the main fuse too

When I clear the codes
All is normal for about 1000 feet
Just the abs stats on
Then the tcs and check engine will come on
This is driving me nuts

I wonder if the ABS ring was damaged, as CW suggested. Maybe something caused it to de-magnetize or magnetize when the sensor worked loose, maybe broke off, so now throws up a fault code? Not sure if there is a way to test for a damaged ring (no pun intended).......
If the sensor is good (as you replaced it, but not uncommon for a faulty unit to be sent) then the ring is not allowing for the sensor to pick up the reading.

As DogDaze mentioned, I'm suspecting one of the rings has demagnetized.
Seriously, the check with the multimeter that I mentioned above is quick and easy.

I am unsure of what you are telling me to plug my multimeter into
To check all this
Can you help me out with that
Thanks

Here you go for the sensor:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnvrsY-UPf4&t=9s

There are typically four other things which can INOP the ABS.

1. The fuse, which you've already checked. You might also pull the fuse to make sure the fuse itself is getting at least 10 VDC.

2 & 3. Either of the brake switches. Make sure they are each making the tail light come on when it should.

4. The ABS pump, which is really easy to test on this bike. The procedure is here:

If you get through these and find nothing, the issue could be a broken wire.

You need to find the connector for each sensor. The front connector is along the frame under the tank. I just replaced mine due to a rub through and exposed wire strands. Don't know where the rear connector is. Once the connector is undone you get your DVOM out and lightly probe both pins on the sensor side of the connector. Polarity is unimportant, but you can swap back and forth if a reading is questionable. First test is done with the Ohm meter. There should be continuity. This type of sensor usually fails open, no continuity. If that's good, with the front/back end supported up in the air, have an assistant give the wheel a spin while the meter is on the AC voltage setting. You should see a voltage change, not a big voltage, might even be in the milivolt range, but a change. Again, if questionable results, try the DC range on the meter. Personally, I doubt the sensor ring will be a failure point, they would need to be cracked/broken or seriously magnetized. Good Ohms reading, a voltage signal, those are eliminated. Go through Checkswrecks list. I don't like that the failure happened shortly after a tire change.

Sorry about that, I didn't watch the video first. Duplication.

I tried the cycle pump thing
Abs light flashes but I hear nothing happening
Should I hear it clearly?? Cycling?
