Yeah, I like the white. It too reminds me of the earlier Yamaha Racing Colors. My first choice was white, followed by blue… I wound up with Grey as that was the only left-over 2013 color left in the area. I too felt that the grey might not be bright enough to be seen.

I thought about seeing if someone wanted to trade, and even thought about painting it over with Yamaha's other early colors, yellow and black, but a month later and the grey has grown on me and like it.

When I decided to purchase a Tenere last year I originally wanted the White, but when I saw it I just didn't care for all the Silver on the rear (subframe, etc.) I much preferred the Black rear parts of the Grey model. I found that I really liked the overall look of the Grey model.

I also really like the look of the 2014 Grey's, but when I decided to get a 2014 I purchased the Blue only because I figured if I was getting a new bike, it should look different from the old bike. I didn't really care for the Blue on the 2012's, but the 2014 Blue is a very beautiful color.

I bought the white, liked it then, love it now. Never been a fan of flat paint color. It just looks like primer that somebody forgot to finish painting. But, and this is a big deal, beauty is in the eye of beholder. So, buy the one you know in your gut that you really want to own and ride and pay for and maintain and ride, ride, ride. Trust your gut, you'll be happy for many years riding this wonderful bike!
