Hi my names bob......... Well not really, it is rick. Been toying with getting a tenere for sometime. Have several bikes now, FLTRI, gold wing and vstrom. What makes the Yamaha attractive is the shaft drive. Anyway, been looking for a low mile bike with farkles already done. Just missed on one, but there will be others. Anyway look forward to visiting.

rick, by the looks of your rides, the Tenere could replace a wing and a STrom, leaving the HD for touring if needed, but i would keep the wing, and ditch the HD if me. Enjoy and good luck on search.

Hey Rick, welcome to the forum... Where in SW Ok are you located? I grew up in Sw Ok and currently live in Oklahoma city.
Well, it seems that I never sell anything. The GW is a 12 and if I had to chose between it and the HD I would keep the wing due to ABS and the power to pull a trailer. The HD is a tad weak power wise. Iplan to sell the wee strom, if I find a real nice very low mile tenere and let someone else take the farkles and deprecation hit (for once). I plan to take the Harley to a auction in jan 14 as it is a 100 Annie version.HoebSTer said:
