Hello, all.

My '02 VStrom has been showing signs of age, and I'm a bit bored with it. So, if all goes well I'll be picking up a '12 Tenere on Thursday or Friday. Rode it last weekend, and loved it. Much less top heavy feeling than my ol' Vstrom, can't wait to get my paws on it.

Kind of feel bad for the Suzuki, as it's been very good to me. I did have to clean a headlight wiring connector last year, but that might be it's only actual break since 2005. Everything else I've done has been upgrades or wear items.

In any case, I've got another bike to learn.

Welcome. Sorry to hear you are putting the Vstrom out to pasture, but I am pretty sure you will get over your grief quickly on the new ride. ::001::

Welcome aboard! Sounds like you have had very good luck with your Vee. I've had several Vee's and Wee's and never had an issue with any of them. You will find the Tenere ever bit as good and better in many respects - especially in how it carries its' weight.

Good luck!!!!

Thanks, all.

Picked it up Saturday, only managed 150 miles so far. I like it!! There's a few things that are bugging me, but I believe most of them are a side affect of riding the same bike for 12 years and then hopping on a new one....
