Hi Rob

From North Wales, between Wrexham and Llangollen.
Loved my old GS, did 48k miles on it and was really getting sick of the cost of everything, and the top heavy weight.
Bought a tenere 700 world raid thinking a lighter bike was the way forward. Most uncomfortable thing I've ever sat on. Traded it for the 1200 and loving it so far.
Will be putting a few bits on it, better screen being number 1 I think

both nice looking bikes. I loved the 1200, but it took a while to get it to be reliable. Luckily it came with full warranty and I just gave it back to them. So many issues to start with, but got it very nice eventually. Biggest change was swapping to Wilburs suspension with their version of the electronic shocks. Unreal difference. Will be doing the same with this I think.
Old bike and new one here

the shock was about £1100 with a added 170 spring that i needed for 2 up with weights and luggage, the dealer i had it from did 9 months interest free credit so it was easy

That's not bad at all really. Did you do anything with the fork springs, or are they ok as standard.
Could also use another opinion on crash bars, pannier racks and a screen
