Hi I'm Tom, newish S10 gen1 owner from South Wales. Recently acquired a 2013 bluish white cocktail gen1 with many issues.

Current priorities are two seized ignition coils, unresponsive rear brake with no pressure behind the pedal, twitchy throttle position sensor and bent low side OEM pannier frame.

Once these are sorted I'm looking at around 15 rust spots, mostly on the frame but one or two from stone chips on the sides of the tank.

Glad to be here, already had some incredibly valuable tips from the S10 experts here!

It's ok the Portugal bit is in May, Norway is end of June. Taking 6 weeks to get all the way up to North Cape, so will be on here searching the chats for advice to get the bike up to spec in time!

That sounds like a great trip, taking in I presume, lots of Spain, France and others on the way. I reckon you’ll be way over 3500 miles. If it’s your thing, perhaps detail trip plan and report in the Tall Trails sub forum. I currently have Norway thread in there.

Hi Tom, welcome along.

I hope you bought cheap, that sounds horribly like it could be an ABS module failure, as well as the 2 coil sticks & TPS .......... ouch.

Still, all those issues have been covered in depth on here over the years. Being a Gen1 at least you have diagnostics through the dash.
