Hi all,

I found this forum via friends on ADV Rider. I have just today bought by 2014 ZE. I don't even collect it until next weekend. I've had all sorts of bikes but just traded a 2013 650 Vstrom. I had the 1000 before that and missed the power of a bigger bike. I took a couple of pics while I was on the test ride.

Hi all,

Yes sorry UK is a bit vague. I'm in Sale, South of Manchester. Had the last ride on the Vstrom today over the cat n Fiddle to Tideswell for a few hours and meet a few other mates for a cuppa. Lovely weather for a change. Packed with bikes everywhere. Looking forward to collecting the ST later this week.

I've picked up the new toy. Started to do a bit a of cleaning. I also collected a big box with the bike which contained the standard exhaust. Screen. Genuine Yamaha tank bag an optimate cable and a few other bits and bobs I haven't figured out yet.

The r&g engine guards were already bubbling so I sand blasted them and powder coated them gloss black. They are not great quality so I might look at some better ones or make some in the future. I also cleaned up the headers and gave it a generous coat of acf50.

It's getting a proper run out this weekend.
