Hello, I just purchased a new to me 2012 super Tenere. It only has 770 miles on it. Would you guys please let me know what maintenance should I do before I start to ride it regularly?
Thanks!

Change the oil and follow the owners manual and you should be in great shape. With that few miles on a battery it may have been allowed to go flat so don't be surprised if it doesn't live too long. But I'd run it till it dies.

Welcome aboard.

Oil, oil filter and air filter. Then I hand wash every part of the bike including the spokes. This easy I get to familiarize myself with the bike and can check for damage and lose spokes. Finally, I suggest using small zip ties to tie your spokes together on both rims. This ensures that they stay together if one breaks and will not damage the rest of the bike. Enjoy your ride.

Thanks again guys. Zip ties on the spokes? I remember using wire on my spokes back in the mid 70s. Now zip ties? That's even better. I love progress.
