Welcome aboard and congrats! Gotta appreciate FredZ for all that he has done for the SuperT community!

Anxious to hear your comments on the R1 to the XT! My son has a R1 and I know my body would not fit one!! ;)

Welcome on, freak. Congrats on the decision to go Force Tenere. I know you'll be pleased. I enjoy the bike a little more every time I ride it. We may have out warmest day yet of the year today ... supposed to soar up to 70 °F .... so I'll be out and about. Enjoy. ::004:: R. ::022::

Welcome to the best forum on the net, freak. It was my pleasure getting your Super Tenere ready for you. I was sure that you would like it and am glad to hear your positive feedback. We'll have to get together for a ride on some of your incredible MO twisties someday.

The Super Ten's are really selling well at Niehaus. All they have left is the demo right now.

Thanks everyone. Just got back from a 200 mile ride and wow what a bike!
Riding the r1 (which is an awesome bike ) it crippled me by the time I got home ,wrist elbows and shoulders would ache for days
After riding today I feel great !

Hey freak, welcome to the asylum! I too bought the Tenere for the more relaxed ergos. Like Fredz I had a ST1300. I am very pleased with the Tenere and am really glad Yamaha decided to bring them to the US.

Freak, make sure you get out Warrenton way. State highway AA past my sisters place turns into Low Gap Road. Perfect curvy pavement on AA and then nice dirt road with creek crossings when it is Low Gap. Not for an R1 but the S10 is screaming for fun!

Welcome!

You're gonna need to get the lower seat in order for Riley to be able to ride that thing. ::025:: ::014:: R

When freak was trying to decide which color to get, I mentioned that it was a well known fact that Yamaha uses the latest, fastest technology for their Moto GP bikes. Anything that would give them the edge in this fastest motorcycle competition in the world is used on these high dollar hand built machines. It therefore is a simple matter to see which color they use for those exotic machines and that color is................

BLUE.

I rest my case.

Good choice, freak.

If you ever change your mind about taking the bike off road, you are close to some great gravel roads in the Missouri Ozarks! It's heart beats dirty oil and gas. ::018::
