Hello All
A long time Super Tenere wanter here. I've had a Triumph Explorer, VStrom 1000 and R1100GS, along with a 660Z Tenere. Been on an '87 Transalp 600 as a rolling restoration for a couple of years, as I wanted something simple, basic and not too heavy. And although limited in some ways, I must admit I absolutely love it. But ever since the Super Tenere was launched, I've had a hankering for one. So here to delve, read and research. And pipe up from time to time with questions that hopefully aren't too daft!

Hi, I’ve also owned two GS over the years but couldn’t justify spending the money on one now. I think the GS handles a little better than the XT but other than that I love the XT, it’s good enough for the roads in North Wales and is comfortable. I’ve fitted a higher Givi screen as the wind noise was too loud. Mine is stored outside and the spokes aren’t looking too good, overall the quality is very good and doubt the GS would last as well without being garaged.
