It was suggested by another member that I introduce myself with my first post. I read this forum all the time but never post. I'll never get my first post back but here's my intro...

I upgraded in August from a Yamaha FZ6 to a black S10. So far it's only been ridden on the street and on a few short trips to the mountains and deserts. It's taken a few months but I finally have the windshield set up comfortably. The next piece to add is a skid plate then it's time to try some dirt roads and beyond.

So hello forum. Thank you for all the help and info I've stolen from you guys so far.

As a former CA resident (not native) I'll say welcome. You live in one of the best spots in the world for such a bike. Welcome and enjoy!
Thanks. My dad lives outside of Houston and rides his BMW GSA on long, flat, straight roads. He doesn't have anything close to the variety here in SoCal.

Welcome Todd. I've spent many nights in corona, back in the day racing at the old corona raceway. Off the 91 freeway and Mckinley it was a very rough 1/2 mile dirt track that was a thrill to race on every saturday night. Like many of the great So. Cal tracks it now has houses sitting were it was.
Look forward to your posts. ::022::
