Hello Tenere faithful. I am not new to the sport of adventure touring but very excited to be apart of this group. I just recently traded off my 2012 super tenere for a new 2018 super tenere es. My 2012 had 29000 km and not a single problem. The biggest reason for upgrading was for the factory cruise control and new style display. I live out in the country so the tenere again was the best choice in my opinion. I live and breathe Yamaha. Snowmobiles, dirt bikes, atv's, side by sides, its all Yamaha. I have not picked up my new Tenere yet, just waiting for the weather to improve. Cant wait to feel the torque of the 1199 mill. Thanks for the invite to this forum.

Welcome from South Florida.
You are going to like the new bells & whistles.
I ride a 2015 Tenere with ES, cruise, etc. and really like the extra features. I use mine for primarily touring (70+ miles approaching 3 years old) and it is solid as a rock!
Enjoy! -JEP-

WELCOME

Yamaha is all I usually buy too (street and dirt bikes, snowmobiles). A few Hondas snuck in there over the years. I look at other brands and the build quality and design are just not up to the standards of Yamaha, IMHO, especially in snowmobiles. Plus I have a good Yamaha dealer that is close by.
