Picked up a zero mile 2014 Super Tenere yesterday. It is the 39th bike I have owned.

Getting old and my shoulders are telling me I need a more upright seating position for doing 8-10 hour days.
Might get it out on some forest roads, but never on true trails; 99% will be 2 lane paved roads.

Would appreciate pointers to good suspension settings for twisty PAVED mountain roads. Most posts I have seen for suspension seem to be focused on dirt riding.

thanks

Greetings from Malta and welcome to the forum. Nice bunch of bikes you have. The S10 is the better looking one though :)

Welcome aboard!

I just spent most of the week right there in Redmond and you have a really nice area. Could not believe how good your weather was this week either.
The Tenere will be perfect for the Pac Northwest.

::004:: From up North, just did a ride to the Red Woods Via back roads from Boney Lake behind Helens, Adams and up to La Pine Oregon. Then to Crater Lake and over that pass on the coolest twisty roads I've been on. Then back up the coast to Port Townsand. These bikes at Bitchin and mine is a Street machine to..

For Paved roads I run standard 2 or 3 settings. For Twisties I tend to lean toward a stiffer setting like Hard 2 where the bike sits a little lower and handles a bit more tightly in the corners.

::004:: from the east side foothills!

Start with baseline settings and start twisting on the forks and shock, see what works for you.
