I just sold my 2003 Honda VFR800 out of impulse and picked up a 2012 Super T the next day for $13k out the door! I've wanted to get into the Adventure touring game for quite a while and had my eye on the Triumph Tiger 800XC. Although after riding one and feeling like I was on a sport bike, I quickly turned to the Tenere.

I have very little dirt experience and have no clue what I'm doing but I'm looking forward to learning!

Welcome aboard tc339. You made a good choice with the Tenere. You won't have to do too much learning .... the bike will help you and show you how to make the most of it. ::008::

I live in San Jose and teach school. Working around that schedule, I get some pretty good rides in in the South Bay area. Rode this summer to Lake Surperior and back. 5600 miles. Tried to stay off the Interstates. Once you leave the mountain states, it's tough to find a road with curves.

Open to local rides...

Welcome from Croatia!
Great choice. I guess you're enjoying the low end torque compared to your previous bike.

Hi from S. Cal.
You have some great roads up there. Perfect for the bike.
BTW, if that's your truck in the background ::008::

Updates from the Pacific Northwest Super Tenere Owners Club; Nice to see so many of all'all jump onto our facebook group!

Looks like our September trip in 2014 already has 6 PNW riders committed to getting down to the Horizons Unlimited gathering in late September. If you haven't heard about this yet, it might be fun for you to take a long gander. Here's a link:
http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/

Perhaps you Northern CA riders would like to join up with us, as we move southward down the Sierra's?

Once again, if you're interested in following our group, find us on Facebook at:
