Hey guys,

Making my introduction. I've been reading this forum for quite a while and figured I should join up. I own a 2014 Super Tenere standard and love the bike. If anyone in the NC area or thereabouts wants to go for a ride sometime let me know! Y'all ride safe!

I routinely go down to Reidsville to ride with a friend. Where are you? ::014::

Welcome Gregp!
I live not far from you in Morganton, NC. I'm sure we could get a ride. I'm not loving this cold we are having now. Send me a PM.

Welcome Gregp. You are lucky to live in such a fantastic area. I try to get down to the Brevard area every year to bomb up and down all the fantastic roads. Nothing like riding 300 miles and having 10 of them be straight! Congrats on the fantastic bike too. I'm loving mine more with every mile put on. ::004::

What brand of lights are those attached to your alt rider crash bars? Are they driving lights or fog lights?

They are Clearwater Darla driving lights. When on high beam they are incredibly bright.

Thanks...looks good.

Do you run them during the daytime to be more conspicuous, or only at night?

Yes, I run them in day time. They have a dimmer switch that allows you to choose the light output while on low beam (anywhere between 20% and full power). I use somewhere around 30% as running lights. When I hit the high beam switch or when I honk the horn they go to full power. (2000 lumens each)
