Hello From New Jersey

Good morning,

Just joined the forum although I have been lurking for a while. The forum has been a great resource. After a lot of research and test riding (someone has to do it ... lol) I purchased a raven Tenere on Friday. I had an Aprilia Caponord since '03 and wasn't sure whether I would go the adventure or sport touring route for a new bike. I considered a R1200GS, KTM Adventure, ST1300, R1200RT and a couple others but in the end pulled the trigger on the Terene. I will have the bike on Tuesday. Hopefully the weather holds up so can get a few rides in. Looking forward to being a part of the forum.

The farkling is about to commence ... I am going to start with protective film paint guards, crash bars, bash plate, panniers/top case and an after market exhaust spread out over the winter. That should sufficiently drain the bank.
