Just registered and am enjoying the forum so far. I got my 2012 ST for Christmas ::016:: . I've got the panniers and top case waiting to be installed at the dealers. Love the ride and can't wait to put some miles on it. Only have 150 so far. Got it 3 days before Christmas and with visiting family for the holidays and then snow and ice, I haven't been able to take it out. :'(

Welcome from IL, about 1 hour from MO. Whereabouts are you in MO? Some of the best roads in the USA are in southern MO, in my opinion.

Did you happen to pick up a set of pre owned OEM bags yesterday?
Yes, I did. I mentioned your name and some people were very impressed, others said "Fred who?"

Seriously, you appear to be well thought of there, and I appreciate you and Dennis giving me the heads-up. There was a small glitch because the mechanic failed to include the lower bag mounts, and I failed to notice it. No problem, as one phone call got them packaged, and sent out next day via UPS. I may have them on tonight.

If it weren't so far to go, I'd be doing more business there-- nice folks.

That's great. I'm glad that it worked out for you. Dennis told me that you would be there Wed, but I didn't get a chance to stop in to say hi. Perhaps some other time.

Dennis is a good guy, He had me puzzled when I saw that he sold his blue 2012 S10, but I was relieved to see that he is just ordering a new one and changing colors.

BTW, welcome to the YST forum. Lots of great people here.

Hey Fred and Zzzzip, I'm in SE Missouri and ride to St. Louis for work each day. Yes, we do have some great roads near where I live. And I'm not far from the border with IL. We head over to Chester for some good Chinese food sometimes.

I kinda lost track of this thread trying to catch up on all the info elsewhere.
