Hello all. I'm Chris and I am a motorcycle addict. It started when I was 12 and has continued to my current old age of ..... enough....just call it middle age.

I traded a 2006 Triumph Speed Triple in for a Raven S10 which was sitting unclaimed on a dealers floor. Actually, the dealer bought 2 for "himself" (as many dealers did and simply placed it on the floor). The rest of the addiction consists of a 2005 Goldwing with a Traxxion suspension, a 2007 KTM 950 Super Enduro with Super Plush and Moto Pro suspension and a host of other mods, and a KTM 400 EXC dual sported with a Factory Connection suspension and other goodies. Needles to say, the S10 will see the dirt...as it should. But with 882 miles in the first week, and about 70 of those offroad already, I can tell you it is not a KTM 950 SE!

You can typically find me blasting around from Allentown to the Catskills to State College to Binghamton almost every weekend with some BMW GS friends.

Welcome to the forum! I think that many if not all the inmates here are addicts, I know that I qualify! There's some great riding opportunities in your neck of the woods and PA has lots of great scenery as well.

Hello and welcome to the group. Nice collection of bikes you have there. I am coming from a KTM 950SM and they are not the same as the Super Tenere but I am sure you will like it. Welcome.

I bought the S10 for a "longer distance rides with boys" bike. I loved the Speed Triple, even for longer rides (last weekend was 14 hours on Saturday in the saddle), but I have carpal tunnel in my throttle hand and I am getting tired of that buzzing feeling on those long rides. The S10 is not ubber fast, but it is neutral handling, well balanced and the ergos fit me excellent. It also can be packed like the Gold Wing when needed and the is no passenger.

The S10 is a tank off road compared the 950 SE. The SE is nothing short of a giant sized dirtbike....you drop it, nothing happens to it...and I drop it 4-5 times each outting given I have a 30 inch inseam and it has a 38 inch seat height. But the SE is the most fun I have ever had on a motorcycle. Everyone should own one...if you can find one.

Welcome Chris, I replaced my 950se with the s10 and agree with you on the se. That was a fantastic bike, I liked the se more than the 950sm I own. My s10 will be my road/dirtroad bike and will be comfortable for longer rides.

Hey Chris, welcome! I drive through Macungie quite often on my way to my parent's house. I'll keep an eye out for you!

Where do you ride dirt? I just picked up my first dirt bike - a KLX250 and I'm itching to get out.
