I haven't ridden a bike since 1976, go figure. I will just lurk for awhile and see how it goes. Yours truly, Lagunatic
You will love it out here. Lots of nice back roads to ride on. My favorite rides were highway 38 up to Onyx summit. Rides up to Palomar Mountain observatory. Highway S2 in the Anza-Borrego Desert Park. The coast Highway from Newport Beach down to Point Loma Lighthouse in San Diego. Highway 74 from San Juan Capistrano to Palm Springs.Vanderwho said:::004:: from Colorado. Hope to be moving out your way (maybe northern San Diego county?) sometime next year.

I'm looking forward to it. Just have to figure out whether the bike's better off on the sidestand or the centerstand when The Big One hits...lagunatic said:You will love it out here. I like the Suzuki 2016 DR650S, but I don't think I will ever ride again. I think Suzuki and Honda motorcycles are the most reliable bikes out there. What is your opinion?Checkswrecks said:Welcome aboard and glad to have you even as a lurker.
Any thoughts toward a re-entry bike which is a jack of all trades? Something like a DR650 or KLR650? Plenty of them can be found on Craigslist and sold for about the same money when you want to.
