Hey, as a heads up, we're predicted to be 102°-106° all next week. So, make sure whatever you're driving down here has A/C. 'Cuz if a person isn't used to the heat, it could cause problems. And the further South you have to go, the higher the humidity will be.
Thanks- I see it’s supposed to “cool off” to 100F by Sunday…. I initially planned to fly and ride but scrapped that after seeing the temps- I’m thinking riding 1300 miles (not in one stretch) would be a recipe for disaster.
Yeah, we've had a relatively mild Spring, but it's hitting back. And it takes acclimation to ride in this heat. I ride all Summer, but I've been doing it for decades. What city are you picking it up in?
Yeah, that's starting to get into West Texas. They tend to get hotter than Central and East Texas. But the humidity is usually a little lower though. Weather Channel just showed that San Angelo is predicted to be 111° today.
