Just a wee hello. Havent even picked my Super 10 up yet. Next week though!

Been riding for far too many years. I have and still do tour all over Scotland. Seen a lot of the country, but still lots more to see.

Moving from my old adventure bike, an ETV1000.

Not sure how many forum members will stay anywhere near me, but I'm always up for a ride out.

I organise a trip in Scotland each year for friends from England, Wales and Ireland. 2016 is pretty well planned out. Five nights in June. Room for more though!

Looking forward to picking up my new beastie next week, wont come quickly enough!

::004:: RH! I have never visited Scotland, but it is my ancestral homeland, so very much high on my list of places to see. ::008::

Enjoy your Super Tenere. Mine continues to be the best motorcycle I have ever owned, and I have had many over the years!

Cheers,

Bruce

Welcome from Kansas. Had my S10 only a month and love riding more than I ever have. Touring Scotland would be a dream

I had to Google "drookit." What a great word! Immersed, saturated, drenched, soaked through, correct? ;D

::008:: Spot on. Unfortunately, it's a word which has been used far too frequently this summer :(

Aye, I should be grateful. We spent a week in. June riding the far north coast and then through the Western Isles which was relatively rain free. I'm jugu being greedy expecting more than a week of summer for riding ::010::

r1d1 next years trip is already planned. Staying on one camp site for five nights. Routes to Mull Of Kintyre, Isle of Mull, three Glens, Ardnamurchan and other places. Also a planned trip out onto the Corryvrechan whirlpools in a RIB.
Always room for more.

A delayed collection but I collected the beastie yesterday.

214 mile ride home in nearly dry conditions. Started persisting down just south of Carlisle.

Chuffed to bits with the bike. A big difference over my old Caponord.

Only issue is that I missed the fact the previous owner had fitted an R&G tail tidy. And therefore had butchered the original rear mud guard. On the look out for a second hand one now. No huge rush but would prefer the protection for my luggage and pillion offered by a full rear mud guard. It does have a hugger fitted.

Run to work and back today, so another 130 miles. Wee bit dreech on the way to work, dry and cool on the way home. Its to be dry again tomorrow, so another pleasant run up through the hills by Moffat.

Very pleased with bike.
