Has anyone tried to install these on there S10 yet? I have a set on my car and I absolutely love them. I am thinking about installing them on my bike to where they fill the gap under the head light. Might look cool and itll be LOUD. I cant stand the stock horn anymore, you cant hear that damn thing.

Anyone have pictures of Supertones on a S10?

Not better in black and do you have to use your horn that much ???

I was thinking you'd lose 20mph every time you had to use it with the back blast :D

How ever I was looking at putting a bigger one one but not much room in there to play with right enough.

The stock horn is useless. Like to have something that can be HEARD. If you piss me off on my bike I will let you know it, and lately I really wish that I had one.

Just not sure if I like how it looks under the headlight.... Maybe I will take mine off of my car and play with placement.

Yup, that's them! Did you wire them up with a relay?

Yes, the system would need a relay to work.

I had originally placed them under the headlights, base on before peekture, the best position to project the full soundwave when activated.
But the thought of hitting a deep rut or pot hole changes my mind.
The front fender will come up when the forks are depressed, thus causing either damages to the fender or the horns.

Shifted onto the Givi guards with Techmount brackets, above the Hella Micro DEs.
Thou further apart, still manages to achieve the initial idea of projecting the sound wave forward.

If one should feel its too big, why not consider this:

Hella 0902

Specification
Voltage = 12V
Current consumption = 3.5 Amp (Max)
Frequency:
Low Tone = 350 Hz
High Tone = 420 Hz
Sound pressure = 118 dB(A) (at 2m from source)
Resistance = 3 m/ Ohm min @ 500 meger
Type of sound = Disc Horn, Metallic
Life durability = As per IS1884:1993
Weight = 310 gms
(without brackets)
Dimension = 90 mm

Sometimes, some people does need something to wake up their ideas on the roads................

Do you have pics of the Hella's mounted? I'd like to mount a pair of slim line horns like these in the stock horn location.. as the OEM horn is pathetic.

Mine's mounted as per attached pics above. I didnt use the stock horn bracket as the horns are too big in diameter.

For the before picture, using a spacer each and longer bolt to secure it to the headlight assembly's bottom bolt points.

The spacer is to give allowance for the horns to be away from the headlight and able to flex more easily when the horns are activated.
