Hello all,

Just replaced my 1st rear Heidenau tire - 150/70B/17". Look at the pictures! The rear had a little over 8,000 miles on it & was down to the wear marks yet. It spent an honest 15% of the 8k off the payment.
The front looks like it's only 30% spent & I'm going to run it through the life of the second rear & change both them both out then.

The Heidenaus being a 50/50 tire in my opinion are just so - so on the street (I ride a lot of sport bikes) plus vibrate when you come up up a stop - and the traction control is on every turn I come out of - BUT the moment you leave the paved surface you know why you bought them and I'll be happy to live when them the 85% of the time I'm on the Highway!

Hi

What pressure are you finding to be the best overall for these tyres.

I have found running them at 230kpa which is lower than the recommended 250 to be the best.

I still feel that the mitas e-07 is a better 50/50 tyre though.

Only 8,000 miles? I'm at 13,000 and have lots of tread left. The rear is pretty squared, but lots of tread left.

Put my second K60 on the rear today.
Yea, I coulda got more outta the old one, but I was getting my 16,000 service and it made sense to just get them to swap it at the same time.

I can say 2 things about the fresher tire.

1. The bike is noticeably taller. Amazing.
2. After scrubbing in, I get less TCS blinking from this one on tarmac. Hmmmm. So a fresh tire has better traction. The computer is telling me so.

Love these tires.

Man I love these tires. Had them on for a month now. Best tire on any bike I've owned. Kudos to the K60's......
