Good day to all,
I'm new to this forum and this is my first post. I'm in the market for a new 2023 Ténéré (US model) and I can't seem to find a definitive answer on whether or not the bike comes standard with heated grips. I can't find an answer on the "official" Yamaha website and the dealer I'm negotiating with is telling the bike doesn't have heated grips but it's an option I can purchase. I spoke with another rider who has a '23 Ténéré and he told me his bike came with heated grips. Very confusing. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks.

I believe the ES has always come with heated grips. If not, installing aftermarkets are easy

I believe the ES has always come with heated grips. . . .
Yes. And the Tenere has only come as an ES since '18. (or maybe '19) But you can't really tell that it has heated grips since all the controls are "on screen" only. There is nothing on the bar indicating that they're heated. And if the dealer doesn't know this, it's not a good sign. On the other hand, ask for a discount since "it doesn't come with heated grips". :D

I'm hoping it comes with heated grips and the salesman is misinformed. It's a new bike and I want to make sure the heated grips are part of the deal before I sign off on it. Unfortunately the dealer isn't local to me.

Yep, it sucks that the dealer doesn't know this. Lol, I like your idea of asking for a discount . And just to be sure.....you're referring to the US model and not the Canadian model, right? I ask because I've seen new Canadian models advertised online with heated grips.
