Does anyone know the color temperature (K) for the stock headlight?

That would be pretty low in the 3k color I'd say...
Unless it's something like a silverstar etc.. I never seen it measured...
I ordered 5k HID's and they are white, not blue...
Anything over 5k and you start to lose output.

The stock halogen bulbs also turn more yellow with age. When mine was new I fitted a single hid 4300K and the colour to the remaining halogen was similar with the halogen being a bit more yellow, over time that difference grew with it becoming very noticeable .
