I lost one, too. Didn't know it was there and pulled out a headlight to take it into the auto parts store with me.

I traced the one I still had onto a sheet of rubber (plumbing supply). I've been meaning to get a new one, keep forgetting. In the meantime that home-brew rubber sheet donut has been doing fine for a few months, and I'm riding thru monsoon season.

I'd probably go to Partsfish.com for something like this. Oddball item. Having said that, O-rings are pretty standard. You could probably find one online.

All right cool. I went to a swimming pool place and picked up and O-ring. Its pretty thin and kinda small. Tried it just the same and caught the cap mid flight as I was going down the road. Bet I couldn't do that again even if I tried..!! Hahahaha I like the rubber cut out idea! Will have to give that a try, or a bunch of tape to keep it put!??! Thanks for the help!!!

Take the other one to a hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical supply place they will almost certainly have/get one.
Or fit the cap and put a fillet of sealant around the cap.

All else fails, the o-ring for some of the housings for the e new paper oil filter on Toyota's are a fit. Check your local oil changer for a take off.

Don't know why I didn't think of this..... I did order an extra set of the dust caps for $6.99USD each and they do come with the O-ring. I ordered the extra set in case I wanted to chop them up for a different bulb.

I bought mine in the plumbing section of Lowes. I use the cyclops LED's. They recommend also running a bead of RTV along the top seam of the cover to keep it from backing out.
