I dont have to be back at work until August 8th. I get my bike back from the shop (had an accident) around June 17th. Im looking to leave Dallas and head west. TAT, California,Colorado, Vegas (have a good friend out there) Utah maybe? Up the PCH to Washington. No plans beyond that. Anybody want to meet up/ ride along/ camp/ couch crash? Im open to any ideas and suggestions....

When you get to Colorado (Denver area) and it's a weekend hit up the 'Usual Suspects' in the West/Colorado sub forum. We usually get out on weekends for some good stuff.

Im thinking TAT from Oklahoma to Utah, I will be spending some time in CO and UT seeing other things. I was going to break away from there in UT and swing by Vegas to see a friend then stay a few days with Family in San Diego , then work PCH up to wherever.

I'm heading out next week to ride the New Mexico Backcountry discover route. You are welcome to ride all or some of it with me.

I'm in Lucas, not far from Frisco.

Fellow Metroplexer here (Plano, not Frisco). I will be making my first run up to Colorado on my S10 starting may 10, coming home on the 16h. Plan so far is Trinidad sunday night, Durango monday night, Lake City wednesday night after MDH and Alpine Loop, then working my way up to Denver by the 14-15th, then work my way home to DFW on the 16th. I will be doing a mix of road and dual sport routes, largely guided by the The Complete Guide to Motorcycling Colorado, by Steve Farson. Shoot me a message if you will be in any of those areas if you want to buddy up for a bit.

Have a great ride!

Just completed TAT on my Tenere. CO section is great. UTBDR from Green River to end is a great option if you like mtns over desert. The new ID TAT is spectacular and the OR TAT is also quite nice. Happy to share details if you want.

Any and/or all of what you suggest will be good.
