New owner here. pulled it out of the dealership and rode 1700 miles in four days. When I pulled back in town I went straight to the shop for first maintenance.

Love this bike. Was supposed to bring in my 1985 MaximX for trade. But we are thinking about hanging it in our garage for show and tell.

Congrats on the S10. Sell, trade or give away the MaximX. Not because it's a bad bike, but for the opposite reasons, it's a great bike and someone else should be enjoying it if you're done with it. Leave the art for bikes that will never run again because of good reasons. Think of how much fun someone will have with that bike! Imagine how stoked some new rider that can't afford a Super Tenere would be to find that gem.

I was at Obermeyers just a couple weeks ago and Keith told me a guy had bought the blue Tenny and was headed for Florida with it. I had just got back from New Orleans on mine when you had just left. You can read my ride report in Tall Trails on this Forum titled "Natchez Trace" if you like.
Anyway welcome and let's hook up sometime.

I wasn't heading to FL. I went to NO too! My avatar is from the Quarter 24 hours after purchase. then we went to Natchez for the night. My wife moved to Franklin TN and we we almost rode the Trace back, but were out of time, took the fast lanes. We did 1700* miles in four days.
That is pretty wild.
