Also ,
If I want to take my Rossi 357 Magnum Lever Action rifle with me I can use my home made rifle holster. Since my rifle takes the same ammo as my revolver I don't have to carry seperate ammo. :)
Here is a picture of my home made Rifle Holster. And a picture of my revolver in my home made horse hide holster before I put the finish on it.

Horse hide
Yes , I prefer to make my holsters out of horse hide because it's denser than cowhide ( the fibers are a lot tighter ) , so it's less susceptible to mold. It's pretty tough stuff to.

::026:: Never leave home without it! never know when some crazy cager may try to run you down because you passed them and they took exception. Seen all kinds of crap when riding and once or twice have been really glad I had my carry weapon on me.

I've been carrying a sidearm for over 27 years now and I have never even had to draw it out of it's holster for an emergency , and I hope I never do. To me a Firearm is much like a Fire Extinguisher , it's just something I would rather have and not need , then to need and not have. :)

I do not carry. Never felt the need personally, but can see why some do. Carry across international borders is almost impossible and in the states I feel pretty secure. Animals could be an issue and If I were roughing it in outback country with the US like Montana in wolf and grizzly country I probably would pack one for around camp, but put away during riding.

As tomato stated, pretty big regulations here in Cali on carrying concealed or otherwise, so why bother.

I am an American. I carry every where.

So we can tell that you've never been to Jersey, Maryland, crossed into Canada, Mexico, etc.
Or at least want to admit it.

I don't carry. But I totally am ok if when others do. Legally. Because there is likely always someone around carrying illegally.
Off duty police are my favorite.

Same on the bike as everywhere else. I own way to many firearms but my usual carry guns are;

Kel-Tec 9MM most of the time. It's cheap, small, & reliable.

In know crime areas - it's my FN FiveSeven in 5.7 x 28MM with 20 rounds in the magazine.

The Kel-Tec fits nicely in my motorcycle jackets inner pocket & doesn't leave an imprint.

I personally am quite excited about the percentage of riders that carry! And all the other TRAINED & law-abiding citizens.

I could carry anywhere in the US, but I prefer to just ugly them to death. Pull the helmet off, and they are toast.

But if all that fails, my hopes are with my Para .45 LDA.

Tankbag which I lock in the topbox if I need to or simply slip it into my jacket pocket.
