What's chances of getting a photo (or photoshop) of the V2's on a SuperT???
Hey Everyone,

Just signed up for the forum here and thought we'd share some photos. Keep in mind, we don't have a bike to play around with yet so we did some quick and dirty photoshopping to visualize the 8" V2's on the S10. Feel free to shoot over any questions and we'll do our best to fill you in. Cheers.

Wow, they look pretty good in the Photoshop by Micatech!!!

Still think I will wait to see the real deal. Also interested to know how the SW Motech brackets mount. Do they use the passenger pegs?

thanks for that photoshop image, I really appreciate it.

The bags are costly to ship, but I am willing to pay the costs for bags that are superior to anything out there. They cannot be compared to Givi, Hepco, or any other kind of ABS bags. They are far superior to Pelicans as well, as I have owned and abused these as well. If you want to compare, use Jesse bags as a price point.

Sorry - "superior" is subjective. What is to one is not necessarily to another.

To each his own.

Good luck with your group buy and the V2's.

That would be summers only. The Winters(now) I am in the heat of Florida, for what it is worth. It is the only state that can say it had "no snow" in this Winter.

The V2's look nice. I've got a buyer for my DL 1000. We're just working out the details for shipping the bike. Once I get the cash from the sale, I'm going to go for a 37L and 45L, black w/silver doors and the rack locks. Having the adjustability in placement of the cases on the racks is a big deal for me. A friend of mine had a set of these on his 1200GS and they were very nice. The construction quality was excellent. These will be my "mule", cases for long range camping touring. I'll work out something using soft bags with the SW Motech racks for shorter trips. The black cases with the silver doors should look nice combined with ALT Riders, s.s. crash bars and skid plate.

Awesome combination. I was thinking of doing the Grey with the black doors, only because I don't like black that much. There are examples of each on the web site. I think Alt Rides crash bars are incredible as well. I am not sure I will be going with the skid plate, because in this concrete jungle, I am mostly avoiding cagers. I have not had luck selling my DL 650 yet. I have lowered the price several times. The market has been tough. Now we need someone who will step up to get a group buy going on Altriders.com

This is New England your talking about. I'll bet you'll have folks helping you install them. Maine and New Hampshire are some of the friendliest places on the planet.

I have never rode up there. I was only in Maine once (Brunswick Naval Air Station) for a short time. I've been looking for an excuse to get up there. I am really thinking about riding up and getting them,,,,,

That color combo sounds nice, too! Now you've got me wondering how that would look.

Hey Micatech, how about a couple of Photoshopped pics of the black w/gray doors and gray w/black doors? We don't ask for much, do we? Ha ha!

Yeah! And while you're at it, can you throw the black ones on a Raven?

LostViking:

Do you have the 8" or 10" cases, or one of each on the GS? Also any photos from the rear to show what they look like?
Thanks

In June I'd be right there with you. I may just keep mine up there and ride it there as well. You could have the racks sent to your home, and install them and it would be a matter of seconds to put the boxes on. There are some incredible roads up in those parts, with several mountain passes to cross as well.
