New member here. Not many S10's up here next to Canadian border! Let me know if you are north of Bangor (Maine), and we can do a ride. I also have an FJR (love it!) on the west coast. I know you folks are full of valuable info & solid help. My next trip this May will be from Key West to Deadhorse, (and back) along with my brother on his GS. I've been riding 40+ years. We're into snowmobile season now. Watch your lane for the elusive Moose!

Welcome! from Colorado.

I'm hoping to possibly get up that way this coming Fall.
Planning a NE tour, with home-base being my Brother's place in Syracuse.

Welcome from metro Seattle!

Regarding your AK trip. In May, pay particular attention to weather in Deadhorse. It's a fickle thing... In '19 a couple of us were there the last week of May / first week of June. Due to freezing fog and snow in Deadhorse, we held up at Atigun pass and aborted the run. To each their own, but Deadhorse is not something I wanted to do in the snow. In '24 we made a return trip the second week of June and completed the Deadhorse run. On our arrival in Deadhorse, temps were still only a balmy 33F. Have heated gear ready!

Good luck and have a great trip. You won't regret it!

Thanks for the info. We made it there in '22. Started from your neck of the woods - Portland. I remember Atigun pass well, as well as the surrounding snow!
