Greetings From San Marcos Texas

Howdy , My name is Derek and I have converted....... I rode dirt bikes in South Africa for many years then started on Harleys when I moved here in 1994. I have and still wrench on bikes and have owned many harleys and dirt bikes. I currently have a 2007 streetglide , 2004 xr250, 2003 xr650l that I supermotoed as well as a suzy 125. I have just purchased a 2012 Raven Tenere that has been well farkled and can't get off her. I continuously try and find reasons to ride but am flat out, so I ride anyway.... I really enjoy the bells and whistles this bike has to offer. I am also looking forward to learning and maybe contributing to this site if I can. I am in San Marcos Texas and always have an open door to fellow riders. Be it for a beer or a bit of wrenching. Thanks for having me.

Welcome from Graham, TX. Used to paddle the San Marcos river a good bit when the Guadalupe wasn't flowing. Bought a few canoes and kayak's from the livery there, can't remeber the name though. Enjoy the Tenere!

Carrot, that sounds great. I have been through Lockhart often. I have a senior and freshman at Navarro and they play basketball against y'all. We should hook up sometime and maybe you could introduce me to a few of your rides. For years I have ridden the hill country and Fredricksburg area on harleys and am looking forward to on/off roads and trails.
