Hey all, new Tenere owner here.

Largely on s friend's recommendation, I bought this dealer demo from Yamaha Sportscenter in Longview. The owner outfitted the bike and took it on one road trip to Missouri, all highway mileage. The bike fit EXACTLY what I was looking for. Right at 1,000 miles, never registered, full factory warranty, and it looks and runs like brand new. The list of add-ons is impressive. I got this bike for a sizable sum less than what a zero-mileage model would have cost without any of the farkles. Used, yes... well, sort of.

I have a few things to I want to do still, GPS & mount, upgraded tool kit, and some electrical updates like a USB charger in the top box and another in the cluster. I'd like a GPS mount that fits on the windscreen crossbar, any suggestions for one and a reasonably priced GPS unit would be appreciated.

Moose Racing Panniers
Yamaha Heated Grips
Yamaha Crash Bars (will probably get changed)
Upgraded skid plate
Warm and Cozy power outlet
Aftermarket Tenere Windscreen
Tender connection
Upgraded Seat Concepts saddle with added foam and "grippy" material. No sliding as the stock seat is prone to do.
ADV, TWT, and Three Sisters decals were no charge. I have a few more to put on.

Hello Studiokid,

Welcome to the forum from another new DFW member. I just picked up my S10 the week of Thanksgiving. I have a Garmin Nuvi 2597 installed on a Ram mount with the Ram specific bracket (very secure). I found the GPS for $129 with free shipping from Frys and the Ram mount items on Amazon. The GPS has lifetime maps and traffic. You can pair it to an Android or Apple smart phone and get live weather radar for only $5 a year. I included some pictures, shoot me a PM if you have any questions.
