Blues Bob here, saying hello on my first post as a Forum new member. I want to thank all you good folks for your input on a great Tenere sight. I've been reading for monthes as a guest, hoping to be a Tenere owner soon. Still not yet. We've got over a foot of new snow this week, and my three BLUE Yamahas in the garage are ready to ride. The FJR is showing 59,600 miles, mostly 2-up. It will have to go to make room for a BLUE -of course- Tenere. The WR250r is going to Utah, south from Hanksville May2 to see some new dirt. And the 01 FZ1 is my around town bike, a trusted ole friend. Looking forward to being a part of this prestigious gathering.

Howdy, Bob, and ::004:: to the Forum. I don't want to talk about snow. Had another dump this morning. Mighty poor. Anyway, let us know when you get that boy, and post some pics. Safe riding. R. ::022::

Welcome from Central California! My son and his wife live in Lafayette. We'll be visiting them the week before the rally in Ouray. Maybe we can plan a ride together.

Greetings and ::004:: from D.C. Got quite few friends from around there (Longmont, Firestone, Berthoud) and they've been keeping me updated on the snowfalls, Seems like Spring has just not quite figured itself out yet.

Howdy pteppic from CA.

When you get to Lafayette in June, we-my wife Scarlett - and I would be happy to show you some great local curvy routes. May still be on the Fjr, but I"m sure your Tenere wouldn"t mind. Be in touch ok,? BB

Thanks All, for the warm welcome to your "Home Site". Just wanted to add to my introduction, that I"m one of those lucky ones. My sweet wife is my best riding buddy! She's been in on all our Yamaha buys, is ready to get the BiG T, and is the best pillion rider ever. About 55,000 miles together! She's 67, and I"m 60, both non-workers, hate the "R" word. Life is GOOD!

Welcome my new friend from Colorado! If we keep this up, we will beat out Texas for the state with the most Teneres.

Yes you will. What is the count per state?

I'll definitely be in touch, BB. My wife doesn't ride, but my son has a 90's Suzuki and we always plan a ride together when we're there. Perhaps Lafayette to Nederland to Estes (?) To Oskar Blues for lunch and back home. I enjoyed that ride last time.
