Greeting from SoCal

My name is Mike and I live Near Long Beach Ca in Lakewood, I work in the film production world and thats why I live here.
Married for 28 years and we have 2 Kids, Our son is out of college and our daughter is in college.

I have always owned some type of motorcycle since I was 10. My father started me out on some trail bikes and he finally had to get me a MX 125 Yamaha (1974) because I was beating the crap out of the other bikes. I raced from age 12-16 and we had a great time running everything from Hang Town to West Capital Speedway Scrambles in Sacramento.

I think I have owned about 25 different dirt bikes or more, and as of the last 5 years I have been out racing a few of them again. I love racing the older vintage bikes and the bike I race is in the "Classic" division (Classic Division is 1975-1979 motorcycles) and thats were I got my username.



I have been racing the Big 6 GP Series, 2 time top Amateur running a 1979 YZ400. I think I'm about done with all that.

Its time to relax and enjoy my trail rides with my club (Prospectors M/C) and this new SxS with my wife, and my near new 2012 Super Tenere I just purchased with 2900 miles.

I look forward to this new forum and learning about Adventure rides and my Tenere. I believe finding first hand information is always the best way to learn.
