Gravel ride out of SW calgary

anyone that's interested, we're heading out on a gravel loop tomorrow out of sw calgary,
either mclean creek rd on to powederface, or longview to the forestry trunk connector, on to either coleman, or back to hwy 40

PM for address, leaving at 1030 from my place

Hey Greg. If you take the 940 south towards Coleman, take the turn off for Dutch Creek (its well marked) heading west(keep to the right when in doubt) then south all the way to #3 highway. A little more challanging than 940 but easily doable on your S10. Just to add a little Adventure to the ride. ::001::

that's the 'connector' that goes over the mountain to the forestry trunk road?
doing it that one with my wife on the back next weekend,

No. The connector is #532 to the #940. Dutch Creek is off to the west side of the 940 about 1/2 way down to the #3.

that one has come and gone, but here is a heads up for a ride to bc, leaving on the 23rd of august,

late august leaving town on thursday aug 23rd at noon-ish, overnight in trout lake, either the old hotel, or the town camp site

friday aug 24th, trout lake to princeton, or somewhere near by, should be a great day, lots of gravel, hwy 31a (Kaslo to New Denver), also west lake road between Vernon and Kelowna

sat aug 25th, princeton to merritt, on to salmon arm the long way
sat night, im meeting Aleksandra in Tappen, Some great roads between princeton and merritt, and then on to Douglas Lake road, which is a beauty as well.

that looks like a good trip. But i have good news and bad news - the good news is i have 2 weeks holiday then. the bad news i have family coming to visit :'(

if it makes you feel better, im running mitas e-07's (mx1canada.com) the rear is pretty much gone, bald. Does fine on gravel, my forward progress does suffer a bit :)
no matter, another on the shelf ready to go
