Well I have succumbed to some World Crosser Porn for my 1st Edition . I had taken a fancy to the Fork guards and a few other bits but always felt a bit put off by the cost of the bits but found a seller with a bit of a discount on some of the bits (small but enough to tempt) I was after the side frame guards and front guards but missed out on the former so just fitted the fork guards this morning in between the icy showers.
The seller also has (had) the main side covers but still at a slightly wallet choking price :/.

Looks great, ::008::

One thing that always deters me from CF is that it is inherently ineffective against point stresses. Meaning, that one strategic rock when you lay it down and you'll most likely damage the part, if not structurally, then cosmetically. And, I seem to gravitate towards Murphy's Law more times than not. :D

Good on you though, I'd love to see the transformation!

I wouldn't disagree with regard to the sturdiness or otherwise of the CF. These are very much a cosmetic add-on which is a shame as the original WC bike appeared to have them in a Kevlar/carbon mix which could have been better. I may take moulds off these at some point and attempt to make something more resilient to the odd tip over.
