Got my 3rd letter......

We should all jsut send Yamaha a letter back asking when it is we will start seeing a bike rather than some mail. Maybe Yamaha should spend some extra on factory labor, than office clerks!!!

I started a thread on my mishap over in the Lounge section of our forum. Basically took a bad fall down a flight of stairs and the result was the broken wrist.

I don't do Daytona, but some from local club will probably be there. Since I have already ridden it anyway, I will just sit back and wait for your (and others) ride report. Enjoy, and get someone to give you a walk around before you take off.

Got mine yesterday or so. I posted it on the other forum, but here was my experience...

When I got my letter, I started reading it to my wife, as we drove up the driveway, and something to the effect of "Dear Customer, We are writing to inform you that you still do not have your Super Tenere. If you were here, we would jab you with a hot poker, but since you are not, this letter will have to suffice".

lol thanks for the laugh. I feel the same way some days but I did get the 3rd letter. Nearest viewing for me is only 700 miles away might as well be on the moon. :'(

Got my 3rd letter several days ago and a phone call today from a salesman at the dealer I ordered from. The salesman was all excited telling me he had a bike on the floor and for me to come in and see it.

Now... I've already sat on one and heard it run... (at another dealer) so at this point, I just want the bike to be delivered!

About two hours later, the salesman called back to say he was sorry but a yamaha rep was there packing the bike to move to a new location. ???

I hope I don't get a call 3 days after my bike is delievered asking if I'd like to come in and buy one.
