Anybody in Seattle area, I'm getting ready to sell my Handy compressed air lift in a few weeks. This thing is stout! (And unbelievably heavy, shipping would be out of the question.) PM me if interested.

True but typically because of lawyers and fear of lawsuits, things like this are over-engineered beyond their "ratings". So a 600lb lift may be able to handle 900lbs but they rate it conservatively to give themselves lots of leeway. In other words, I'd would expect to have to substantially exceed 600lbs before the risk of anything bad happening would even start to be a factor. Still, I'd be nice to know if others are using this same lift with no issues.

For the record, I use my Harbor Freight lift to work on my Tenere, it usually sits on the lift all winter (lift lowered on the big locking pin). Very stable, no problems. Also had a Concours 1400 on it as well, which I think weighed maybe 100 lbs. more than the Tenere (or maybe not quite that much). These things make a night and day difference on knees and backs ....the older we get the better it works.

I finally scored the foundation of an awesome shop setup all in one fell swoop!!!

I have been wanting a lift table for some time now and have been casually hunting the interweb. Every so often, I will toss a CL ad out there for "WTB: Motorcycle Lift Table" and I usually get no response. Or they want too much for cheap Chinese junk or they want to sell me the harbor freight rig which I really did not want. So I tossed a new ad out there last week and went out of town for the holidays. While gone, I got a note from a guy 50 miles form the house who was getting out of riding due to an inner ear condition and he saw my ad. He wanted to get rid of all his shop stuff. He was offering a nice Handy Lift, a NoMar Classic with all the goodies, and some fancy German tire balancing rig that a buddy had brought back for him. I have the HF tire machine already and it has changed my life. We agreed on $1000 for it all and I drove down today to get it. I am gonna sell my HF tire rig (with Mojo blocks and Nomar lever) to a riding buddy for $150. So for $850... I scored a sweet little shop setup.

Here it is getting backed into my garage.

I cannot wait to get working with the new toys!!!

That is a great looking set-up for working on your bike and changing tires! Your tenacity reminds me of the quote, "All good things come to he who waits"; although I might have it wrong!

great find.
I have had my handly lift for 5 or so years. Not sure how I have done without it. It's stable, safe as houses. holds huge pigs like a k1600 without issue.
And I bought it second hand

I had to modify the Pep Boys lift. The others seem to handle these bikes with little problem.

My big question at the time was whether to go air-powered or the cheaper hydraulic foot pump. Working in a commercial environment, the pneumatic is the only way to go. For up and down a couple of times a night in my own garage the simpler cheaper hydraulic has been fine.
