GoPro Farkle Bar

So I just purchased a GoPro 4 and trying to figure out a way to attach my old GoPro3+ to my farkle bar. I'm having a surprising unbelievable time finding something to attach to the farkle bar. I'd like to have something that would attach to the bar and have the camera directly attach to that (ie no funky pressure adapters or swivels) to avoid things coming loose due to vibrations.

Also if I'm not mistaken the farkle bar is 1/2" correct??

UNPK RAM HANDLEBAR MNT 3/8" - 5/8" 1" BALL

RAM-B-231ZU
UNPKD RAM RAIL BASE W/BALL & ZINC U-BOLT

I use both of these with a double socket arm. The double socket arms come in different lengths.

Thanks!!!!

I could had sworn that when I looked at that it only went down to 0.75"... Guess that is what happens when I'm going blind looking through them. I actually bought a mount (was only $6) that I thought went to 0.5" but yet it only went down to 0.75 :'(

Really kind of surprised that there is not more info out on forums about GoPros and bikes. I ride with a chin mounted camera 100% of the time, its the 2nd most important piece of gear I put on outside of my Helmet. I don't do anything interesting most of the time, and I'm not vlogger, I use it strictly for insurance reasons. Now that I have 3 cameras though I'm going to go have some fun on the canyons once I get them mounted :)

Really? I just used one of the GoPro clamp mounts that came with my Hero 4.

I had no type of bar clamps that came with my camera. I have the GoPro 4 Silver, so maybe the black comes with other fancy stuff. It only came with two little extenders and then the typical sticky pads. Thought about actually using one of those on the inside of my shield, but did not really want too..

I did order the kit though, should have it here on Friday. I also ordered a locking knob for the kit, never seen them before I was going blind looking on amazon for mounts. While its still not thief proof, I think I could leave it on my bike while going into a store without having to worry much. I will replace the thumb screw with the ones you can get from home depot, makes the mounts look WAY cleaner and helps with security. No one will be able to take the GoPro directly off the mount without having an allen key, and with the lock knob no one will be able to loosen or remove the arm from either ball joints. Granted with enough force I'm sure someone could just rip the entire farkle bar off which is why I'll be placing it in my new fancy top box for any extended parking times!

I'M GETTING THE FARKLE BUG AND MY WALLET DOESN'T LIKE IT!!!

Below is the link... Have to make sure you get the right knob for the type of arm you have.

I am very cheap. I chose a low cost method of attaching my GoPro to the farkle bar. I got a small piece of clear plastic and some pipe clamps. I could never seem to get the clamps tight enough so I drilled two small set screws into the bar. Now everything is nice and tight. The only problem is to make sure my windshield is clean.

Very creative, and looks really good. Got the kit today so I'm going to mount it on Saturday. The lock I ordered for it works really well too.

I might have to look more into what Snooze did, really don't like the large profile that the mount gives. Kind of figured it might end up being an issue, but its more so than I thought it would be. Will be fine for when I go out for a canyon run, but for day to day I'd like something with a lower profile.
