Yup, that flat tire was the last straw! I will not tolerate an unreliable motorcycle even if it is a flat tire.
No; actually the ad I'm placing is for a buddy of mine who ordered a new BMW. He liked the Tenere' OK but was really impressed on his test ride of the performance and features of the BMW.

yeah the new beemer motor is a peach, and the adjustable windscreen is pretty decent too.

On the UK GS Forum there are a lot of problems reported, in the past they said it was down to how many there are, but the new BMW has probably sold no more in the 6 months it has been out in the UK than the S10 in the last 3 years, yet has about 10 times the problems we see here on a global forum, at least one has been replaced entirely by BMW and a couple of other owners are trying to get a new bike / money back.
It is very kind of your friend to offer his help with speeding up the beta testing and debugging of this new BMW model, may I ask how much they are paying him for this assistance

Whew!!! I panicked there for a moment. I thought WFOPete was selling "his" SuperTenere.
I mean... where else I am I gonna go to get all the advice I need as I start the planning to take my SuperTen - aka the Super Commuter - on the TAT in the Summer of 2016 when I done with grad school?
Carry on... nothing to see here - yet!
