Maybe its just me but I sure find those Gold Forks on the new 2013 S10s FUGLY. Spoils the whole bike. Think I'd be painting them first thing either silver or black. Just saying! ::001::

Or matching the front rotor color to the new forks.

I don't consider them that obtrusive. I tend to think of them as bling on a great bike (that is not that good looking to begin with). Who am I to judge though... ::025::

I disagree... I think they provide nice contrast. Fuggly will be what they look like after the paint starts to chip away.

Yep mee too, Fugly!!! I almost think the light gold we have on the 2012's is almost too odd. If i knew of a place that anodises, I wold have them done black.

I've always quite liked the gold. Didn't do Ohlins any harm when they chose that color. ??? ;)

I really like the new 2013 gold forks, the other years always looked faded to me...

But to each his own..

I'm with you. I liked mine until I got a look at the UNfaded version.

I got the matte gray color with the golden forks and I think it looks great, especially now when I got some of the world crosser stickers on it as well. The combination really makes the colors pop without it looking too flashy.

Here is a blue 2012 next to a gray 2013 (both are US bikes). Note the gray 2013 has deeper gold finish on the forks.

I like the 2012 color better....but you can't tell what color they are when they are covered in dirt so who cares.

I see, i never put the two togehter, so didn't notice the difference,
i'm ok with it, would not trade in my 2012 forks or anything..
