Like the look of the Lee Parks Deer Tours. Also, being made in California helps. I didn't know about them until now.

Unfortunately, my Elkskin ropers are nowhere near worn out, and the Elkskin gauntlets I have are just getting broke in, so I really don't need to upgrade. However, I'll probably need some new winter ( lol, California winter) :D gloves. Will think seriously about the Lee Parks DeerTours PCi gloves.

Once Held changed manufacturing location, I felt the quality went downhill and the fit was nev as good
I have worn Helimot gloves since then, I have never found a better glove, custom made in California

I wear the buffalo pros and the f108 when temps over 90 F

Thanks for posting about these gloves. I had not heard of them, and will take a hard look.

I mainly wear the Held Air Stream in the summer and the Aerostich gauntlet elkskin roper when it's cooler. In the winter I've got an ancient pair of Olympias with Gore-Tex and Polartec or some such insulator, and a pair of Alpinestars that are mostly fabric with leather palms and have Polartec in them. They fit loosely enough that I can use liners in them, electric or non-.

In rain I use the Aerostich Triple Digit Raincovers.

The Helds and the elkskins are my favorites by far. I'll have to keep the Lee Parks in mind in the future after reading Dallara's review.

I'd like to replace my Olympia gore-tex winter gloves: Like mobyfubar, they are also ancient...I've had them over 20 years and for about five years were my daily, winter commuter gloves (CA, but Northern CA where it does freeze).

They have great feel, with good insulation but not too heavy. I just worry they won't make another winter. I like the Held Warm n Dry and the Freezer gloves. Anyone have a pair and can give feedback?

Today I purchased another glove, the Rain Off over glove.

So now I'm still looking for the Spring and Fall glove.

I will have the Held Air Streams for hot weather riding.
Olympia Wind-Tex winter gloves, and Gerbings G3 electrics for winter.
And to cover them all, the Rain Off over glove.

I found these by accident at the Helimot site.. http://www.helimot.com/shopexd.asp?id=66
They appear to have some good qualities.
Don't own them, can be found cheaper...98.00

For summer, I have a set of Icon Leather mesh gloves (don't remember the model) and for winter, I have a set of Tourmaster heated gloves (though I need a new controller). At the last IMS in Long Beach, I picked up a set of Fieldsheer kangaroo leather gauntlet gloves that are perfect for spring/fall. Bert's was blowing out gloves 2 pair for $30, so they cost me all of $15!

I've tried a lot of gloves, got the Elkskin Ropers in both regular and lined version, but after recently just getting my first set of Held gloves, I think I've found the gloves for me. I got the Airstreams which were make in Pakistan for summer, then the Steve 2 which was made in Holland. No problem with quality on mine. I love them. So these will cover summer, spring and fall pretty good. My hands are no good in winter and I've tried many a glove, so Gerbings is the only hope I have there. Probably should just not ride when it's zero out. :D
How do the Steve 2 fit. I measure 9 snug to 9 1/4. I hate buying gloves without trying them on...

i measure about 9 1/2" on my hands, I got the size 10 just like I did in the Airstreams and they seem perfect. They come in short or long finger length too. I just went with the normal sizing. Got mine from Revzilla. They let you return and will send you out a different size no charge if you don't like the fit. Hard to find Held gloves locally, I tried with no luck, all Chinese junk locally here.
+1 on the Chinese junk!! I bought a pair of Racer gloves off the net and they were horrible. The thumb on one glove was 1/2 inch longer, and quality control was lacking.
I bought the Air Streams, but they have been back ordered. I am going to order the Steve 2 when I get my refund back from the Racer gloves.

I've had carpal tunnel surgery on both wrists. Scars of my profession. My fingers go numb if I have too much bulk at the wrist.

Mostly, I wear Icon shorty gloves: perf and regular. I also have "racing"gloves from Vancon and AlpineStars. Those are my winter gloves.

I long time ago, I learned that if I wore two pairs of surgical gloves under my regular gloves I could keep my hands reasonably warm. Wearing two pairs traps enough air to insulate without causing problems with my wrists. Wearing a single pair is useless.

my $0.02.
